For the eighth year in a row, AMAROK™ [formerly Electric Guard Dog] is named in the top 30 of the SDM Magazine 100, maintaining last year’s spot at #16.
The SDM 100 report from SDM Magazine ranks security providers based on recurring monthly revenue (RMR), and AMAROK has continued to flourish with more than $4.3 million in RMR this past year following a full re-branding effort.
The announcement about SDM 100 comes just four years after being named SDM’s Dealer of the Year for 2016. At the time, SDM Magazine cited AMAROK's unique business model, year-over-year double digit growth, and plans to expand and grow as reasons for the honor—reasons that have most certainly resulted in maintaining a high standing in the SDM 100.
“We’re proud to continue seeing significant growth for so many years in a row. We’ve been working ceaselessly to improve our already effective service to stop crime and protect businesses, and clearly, our efforts have been well-received,” said Mark Wesley, CEO of AMAROK. “Our maintained standing in the SDM 100 motivates us to continue being an innovative leader in perimeter security.”

About the SDM 100 Report
Since 1991, the SDM 100 Report has been ranking U.S. companies, based on RMR, that earn their revenues from the sale, installation, service and monitoring of electronic security systems—such as intrusion and fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, and related low-voltage systems. The goal is to measure consumer dollars gained by alarm companies, in order to present an account of the size of the market served by the 100 largest security providers.
